How do you tuck the sheets and blankets in on a platform bed?
Q. We just got a new platform (king size) bed. And a new (very deep) king size mattress. No boxspring, per the platform bed design. The mattress is resting on a series of wood slats. How in the world do you make such a bed? The mattress is too heavy for me to lift to tuck sheets and blankets under at the foot of the bed. I am hoping that there is some trick I have not thought of. HELP!!??

A. Go get a box spring! The type you have is for a box spring otherwise it would be a shallow shelf for the mattress and solid wood to hold it not slats, slats cannot support a mattress; unless there are at least 12-14 or them not 3 or 4. those recessed with few slats are ment for box springs, then you can comfortably make the bed.
