How much money do computer game ideas sell for on average?
Q. Ok, I have an awesome idea for a computer game. It is similar to another game but has a different moral, role play, atmosphere, and etc. The game it is based off of is a smash hit, it sells millions. Mine seems like it would be a REALLY good game. I already thought everything out, I just don't know if I want to go through with it. So how much would a fairly good computer game IDEA sell for to a large corp.?

A. You can take your design in and ask for a contract that gets you a certain percent of whatever amount of money they make from your game total. For example, the company made 100 million dollars and you would get 10 million if you signed a 10% contract. I'm not sure how much is resonable for a one time deal sorry.

What is that computer game where you're a mouse collecting cheese while avoiding cats?
Q. It's an old game I used to play it on my grandfathers computer years ago. It's a green playing screen and they put you (the mouse) and cheese and cats and blocks for you to push around to make a safe area so the cats can't get in. I also think you can kill the cats when you push blocks on them. Does anyone know what this game is?

How do I install my computer game on to a different disk drive?
Q. I'm trying to install a Nancy Drew computer game on to my disk drive E instead of having it on drive C. I don't have enough space on drive C to install it. How would I do this? I can't seem to figure it out, whenever I try to install it on the other drive, a pop-up window just comes up and says I don't have enough space on drive C. *I'm not a computer expert at all.
Asked by erinny2000 - Sun Sep 28 18:31:42 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. During the installation it should ask where you want to install it. And usually it would have something like the following: C:\program files\nancy drew\ Or something like that ^^^ So all you need to do is change that to E:\ Then it should install onto the E: Drive If it doesn't let you choose where to install it then maybe you should just free up some space on the C: Drive.

How does one put a computer game stored on hard drive onto a disk?
Q. I am a computer novice. I would like to know how one takes a computer game/program and copies it to a disc. Also when i do copy it to a disk, how do I install it onto another computer? May I simply pop in the disk, select the correct drive and then enter install into the RUN command screen? Will the "auto install" function take over when I pop such a disc into my computer as software from the store does? I no longer have the original disc so it is imperative that I get the game off of the computer onto a disc in installable form. Thanks very much to the computer whiz's who help me. P.S. Links to explanations of such a procedure would be greatly appreciated.

A. You can make an iso image of a cd, which allows you to use a program like alcohol 120% to make your computer think its a real cd, in a real cdrom. you can also download the iso images directly offline with bittorrent.

Is there any way to install a computer game to a flash drive?
Q. For what ever reason my computer has no disk space, but that's not my problem. I used to have the online game 2moons installed but I had to delete it. Now I have no space to re install it. Is there any way I can install it onto a flash drive so it's not actually on the computer taking up space all the time?
Asked by Imagine1980Jl - Fri Aug 21 16:44:21 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. As long as you have the flash drive plugged in when you go to do the install, you should be able to do it just fine. You might want to copy the installation program to the flash drive first, just to make it easier, but if you're installing from a CD, just tell it to install to whatever letter your thumb drive is instead of your C: drive. Just so you know, however, if your hard drive is full, it's going to cause your computer to have problems. Specifically, it will make it run slower and when it's completely full, it can cause Windows to crash. So you might want to clear off some space or get a bigger hard drive. (You can get a huge external drive for less than $75.)

A. My daughter just turned 9. She is positively nuts about horses, and I asked her what she thought. She has spent a lot of time playing the following horse games: Riding Star. There are some different versions of this, and she has Champion Dreams First to Ride: Very focused on jumping. She's played it so much I can hear the music in my sleep! This is definitely a great jumping game for her age. Horse Farm -- which is a broader game more focused on building stables, having foals etc. If you do get this one, look at her site below for the "cheat." I don't like that term, but it's the only way to play that game without getting totally frustrated. Saddle Club is also an interesting game but tricky. It's a simulation where you mount your… [cont.]

A. Not all games support playing in a windowed mode. But you might try pressing Alt+Enter while the Game is running. Make sure the game has a smaller resolution than your desktop screen. If nothing happens, then the game can only be played fullscreen.
